Getting started

Your first 30 minutes with Roby ๐Ÿพ

A short, friendly walkthrough to get you up and running. Skip any step that doesn't apply โ€” Roby's flexible.

STEP 1

Create your account

Click 'Get started' anywhere on the site. Sign in with Google or email โ€” it takes 30 seconds and doesn't need a card.

Already have an account? Use the Log in button instead.
STEP 2

Connect your calendar (optional, recommended)

Head to Settings โ†’ Google Calendar to connect your existing schedule. Your meetings will appear as locked tasks Roby won't try to reschedule.

Skip this if you'd rather start fresh โ€” you can always connect later.
STEP 3

Add your first task

On the Dashboard, click any empty time slot to add a task. Give it a title, pick a category, and that's it. Need a deadline? Set due-date defaults per category in Settings.

Or just chat to Roby: 'Schedule a 1-hour focus block tomorrow morning.'
STEP 4

Meet Roby

Open the chat panel and say hi. Ask 'what's on today?', 'when should I do X?', or just describe what's on your plate. Roby will help you plan.

Roby's tone is warm and encouraging by default. You can never break Roby โ€” try anything!
STEP 5

Link Telegram (optional)

Settings โ†’ Telegram โ†’ 'Generate code'. Paste it into a DM with the Scheduleroby bot. Now you can add tasks, get reminders, and chat with Roby anywhere.

Type 'help' to the bot to see everything it can do.
STEP 6

Set up reminders that work for you

Settings โ†’ Notifications lets you pick browser, Telegram, or email reminders. Set per-category default due dates (e.g. 'Reports โ†’ 2 business days @ 5pm').

ADHD tip: relative reminders ('30 min before') often work better than absolute ones.
STEP 7

Try the focus timer

Click any task and hit 'Focus'. The timer is task-linked, so when it ends you can mark complete, extend, or ask Roby to reschedule with one tap.

Pomodoro fan? Set 25-minute sessions. Deep worker? Try 90.
STEP 8

Make it yours

Settings โ†’ Themes lets you pick gradients, accents, and even a background image. Subcategory colour pickers let you tag visually at a glance.

Your theme syncs across all devices automatically.
